The DreamWear frame is constructed with silicone tubing, which allows air to flow through and around the nasal cushion. The design of the frame allows sleepers who prefer nearly any sleeping position to achieve a proper seal and airflow to their cushion. The side of a mask frame that is laid on should be open, so it directs all of the airflow through the other (open) side. The package also includes wraps to secure the earbuds in place.
The DreamWear nasal mask rests gently under the nose and provides air to both nostrils. The cushion does not cover the entire nose, helping reduce sores or irritation on its bridge.
Open Line of SightThe DreamWear Nasal CPAP Mask’s frame and under-the-nose cushion leave plenty of space for nighttime reading or watching television. Since it has fewer contact points on the face than other masks, there is a reduced likelihood that irritation will occur.
The DreamWear Nasal Mask comes in three frame sizes: small, medium and large. Most users will find the medium frame to be the best fit. The nasal cushion comes in four sizes: small, medium, medium wide and large. The frame and cushion are interchangeable—so any size frame can be used with any size cushion.
The DreamWear’s elbow connection sits at the top of the head; this allows users to route their CPAP hose above them while they sleep, reducing tug on the mask. If a user’s sleeping position changes during the night, it will allow their DreamWear mask to move freely without disconnecting and reconnecting tubing like conventional masks would require.
